By using Hostbook, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

The following information is collected and stored on our platform:

• Guest names and phone numbers entered during booking creation
• Booking details — check-in/check-out dates, room type, number of guests
• Payment details — advance amount paid and remaining balance
• Property owner and manager account information — name and email address
• Homestay details — property name, room types, pricing and availability

Information collected on Hostbook is used for the following purposes:

• Managing and tracking guest bookings for homestay properties
• Displaying room availability and calendar information to property owners
• Generating booking receipts and invoices
• Sending booking notifications to property owners and managers
• Internal promotional activities to improve and grow our services

• Admin: Can view all guest information, phone numbers, bookings, and property availability across all homestays
• Property Owners: Can view bookings and guest details only for their own homestay properties
• Managers: Can view bookings and guest details for the homestay they are assigned to

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information or guest data with any third parties for commercial purposes.

Guest data collected on the platform — including names and phone numbers — is used solely within the Hostbook platform for booking management and internal promotional activities. It is not shared with any external organizations.

We take the security of your data seriously. Your account is protected by password authentication, and all data is stored securely on our servers. Access to data is restricted based on user roles — owners can only see their own property data.

We recommend that all users keep their login credentials confidential and log out after each session on shared devices.

Booking records and guest information are retained on the platform for as long as the property owner's account is active. If you wish to delete specific records, you may do so directly from the Bookings section of the app.

Completed bookings are automatically deleted after 3 months. We do not store your guests' data beyond this period. This ensures that only relevant and recent booking information is kept on our platform.

If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data before this period, please contact us using the details below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
